This is a whole different ballgame,though. We're talking big name S/K writers with big-name, long-ass S/K stories. Hell, my canon stuff isn't as popular with my readers as my S/K stuff is, much less attempt to extrapolate that to fandom at large...and every other non I/K romantic pairing.

As for angst...yeah, that story is rather old, and again - huge names and titles in that category. Including you, might I just add :)

So, I believe my doubts are more than justified, unfortunately.
