This was my gift to isabelquinn for the 2011 fandom_stocking holiday exchange. It was basically my response to the gauntlet that was thrown when I received her gift from the LJ Halloween meme - this cute little sketch, depicting the moment my brain explodes: when BSC-universe Stacey meets KI-universe Stacy.

I'm happy with this piece not only because I managed to wrap my brain around the idea of these characters meeting, but also because I think it's pretty funny :P Most of the stories that I write and label as "comedy" feel/read weak to me, but not this one. Maybe its because of the meta amusement it gives me, finally teasing apart two characters that melded into one in my head, IDK. But, isabelquinn seemed to like it, so hey ~ I guess I did something right? LOL. She wanted more BSC crossovers for her stocking, so hopefully this lived up to her expectations in more ways than one =)

This is probably my most favorite piece yet that I've written for BSC fandom. A lot of things came together for me, all starting with an idea I've had for this pairing for nearly a year.

I'm not sure that I'll be adding to this little two-shot series, but it was certainly fun to write! My first person POV is coming along, I think. I'll definitely be writing more Sam/Stacey, though, and maybe outlining more of my own personal head-canon/future story for them.

My muses are kinda warring between ideas for this prompt table and my Charlie/Janine fic. I'm trying to work out a deal with them - 1 chapter of the fic in exchange for 1 oneshot - so hopefully I can spend the next couple of days finishing up the longer fic. I'm just about halfway finished with it. I'm quite excited about it, so as long as everything else in my life is fairly calm and quiet, I should be able to get this done soon *crosses fingers*

Also, be on the lookout for a BSC fic rec post sometime in the near future. Even if I don't read a lot of the slash, there's still plenty of good stuff that deserves recognition =)
