Eikyuu Kosai: July 2009 Term Results

The first term of voting at the Mir/San awards went off without a hitch, and the winners have been announced! To my ultimate surprise, one of my little fics was among those honored.

Thanks to everyone who voted for Love, Honor, Cherish! It won 1st Place in the Best Character Portrayal: Sango category. How, I don't know, especially not going up against Identity Crisis by eggplantlady (hands down, my favorite writer when it comes to Sango and Miroku) or Absolution by kmoaton (a very close second).

And I have to admit, while I am absolutely ecstatic about winning an award for characterization :D :D :D because its something I value in fanfic more than just about anything else, if you made me guess which character I'd be most likely to win for, it wouldn't be Sango, LOL. I guess I managed to do something right!

Many congratulations to everyone from my f-list who got a slice of the pie: browneyedmami, doggieearlover, eggplantlady, kmoaton, landofthekwt, paynesgrey, psyco_chick32, and yumi_michiyo. Wow! I move in a very talented circle, it appears :)
