Rachmaninoff was an amazing Russian composer/pianist, rather reknown for his difficult compositions (he had a HUGE natural handspan):



I went through a phase of classical music, which I still very much enjoy to this day - but it was the first time I truly felt the emotions of music, and I've always loved it for that. I tend to favor highly emotional composers, most of them Russian (because I also have a huge fascination/interest in Russia and its culture). Tchaikovsky is probably the most famous of these for his many ballets, and of course this:
