I finally had a chance to read Memento Mori, and I must say, it deserves all the awards it's received, and more. It's probably the single best one-shot fanfic I've ever read.

I don't think I'll ever get used to the amount of praise people have heaped on this fic. It felt like a risk to write the first chapter, and the sequel oneshot came from a rather personal place, so...I'm thrilled when people tell me I managed to do my job and convey the emotions so well.
