I was pretty much expecting that Inuyasha would succeed to some extent in getting between them, I mean, I was expecting big time drama -- but the circumstances... those were entirely a surprise. I'm also at a loss as to where Kags and Sessh will go from here. Sess's father and Inuyasha have done a pretty good job of dividing and conquering. Sesshoumaru's line at the end of this chapter is absolutely heartbreaking.
