Is it possible for me to be excited and dreading it at the same time? Yes, there are definitely certain manga scenes I would like to see animated, and there are also some I would not. And I am cringing just thinking of all the possible changes they could make. Honestly, I love it that right now, everyone has to use the manga for reference for the last part of the series.

There's no doubt it will boost the fandom again, though and bring in a new generation of fanfic writers.
