I'm feeling much better today, so I jumped into my rewrite of the latest Stacy in Bloom...and what do you know, the chapter ended up being even longer o.O And, there's no good place to split it, so I can't even cheat and get ahead on my own schedule :P LOL, at this rate, I'll never get back to a weekly posting schedule for that fic.

I'm also having some nibbles on some other WIPs, so stay tuned...

Day 15 - What is your favorite real life pairing?

As a general rule, I do not ship real-life people. It's just way too squicky for me, but of course, YMMV. However, if there is one real-life couple that generally brings me to a massive state of gooeyness anytime I think about them, it'd be this one:


Long have I had a thing for British royal history, in all its royally fucked up glory, but my favorites among them all are definitely Victoria & Albert, who seemed to genuinely love each other, even amidst all the chaos and intrigue that is the 19th century British royal court. (And, okay, I have a big historical crush on Prince Albert, not even gonna lie.) They had it all: an unconventional courtship, nine children (whose marriages eventually united all of Europe), and even a tragic ending. Victoria mourned her husband's sudden death in 1861 for the rest of her life, which speaks volumes to me on the degree and intensity of her love for him.
