Let's try this again...
Day 18 - What is the cutest pairing?
Hands down, this would have to be early classic Shelle (from Days of Our Lives), from 1999 or so. I believe this scene took place right after Shawn returned to Salem, so these two would dance around each other for another two or years or so before getting together. Already, there are hints of storylines far into the future (like this burgeoning love triangle with Philip), but at the beginning? It was total love <3 Like many canon ships, it started off on the right track, before going waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off course o.O These two were destined to be the supercouple of their generation, and they eventually were...it just took them awhile to get there.
Obviously I feel these characters (and actors) have chemistry in spades, and it's probably pretty obvious I have a 'type' of ship, or at least I did when I started...I'm not sure whether to be proud or embarrassed to have such a strong pattern emerge from my early hapless romance days (one that still endures, apparently, twenty-some-odd years later!)
