Is there a line you *won't* cross when you start slashing the federal government?!

lol, Apparently not. For some reason political slash amuses me more than it horrifies me. I still wouldn't read any of it, but the very idea strikes me as hilarious.

Why even mention "I hate this pairing, but...?" Why not just say this was a good story, or whatever, without qualifying the statement?

That's what I don't understand. It's also why I've come to (somewhat jokingly) refer to Mir/San as "the wrong pairing," because I see that come up so often. Maybe it's just me getting that kind of response, I don't know.

I've got 25 more damn chapters to go, it wouldn't be very fun if there wasn't some sort of stumbling block, yes?

Apparently not. I do not understand why people tend to simplify things so much in fanfic. It's always love at first sight. It's always sunshine and roses until the villain comes along, but it always ends happily (and usually after much smexing). And it's always so damn formulaic. I think it's much more interesting when the characters involved are actually, you know, involved in their relationship and when there are, perhaps, hurdles to overcome in order for them to be together.

Are you saying it might not be worth it to foist it upon the world LOL?

Right now? I'm not saying that at all. In fact I'd be quite thrilled to read any Mir/San fics you could come up with (and I'd probably even have a fangirlish spazz before reading it, too, because I love your writing so much XD). On a more cynical day, I'd be tempted to say it isn't worth it... because in a lot of ways it's not. -shrugs-
