Yay! Another milestone crossed
I know, I know, I think we can all safely agree that number of reviews does not correspond to quality of fic. I'm aware that I'm also very vocal about my enjoyment of having consistent reviewers for a piece (or pieces...) as opposed to a ton of "update soon plz!" random, drive-by reviews. That being said, however, doesn't mean I didn't perk up when I realized one of my pieces (a collection, actually), had reached a milestone:

It's the first time I've ever hit 50 reviews for a single entry at any of the five sites I currently archive with.
I'm lucky, in that I've received some very thoughtful, gratifying, downright awe-inspiring reviews for quite a few of my fics. This is something I've never asked for, or ever expect to receive; in fact, it's something that still manages to thrill me right down to my bones (that, and reviews still trickling in for pieces well over and done with - from people who seem to realize that fact!). I'm always grateful whenever someone deigns leave me a comment on my work, whether at an archive, at my personal LJ, or any of the contest comms I belong to. I don't keep a running count (content over quantity, always!), but even I can't deny that it's wonderful to see such a nice-sized amount of reviews attached to a fic.
Made up from a set of consistent reviewers, no less ;)

Having a bad day? Why not cheer yourself up with something that's completely inconsequential in the long run? :P
