You have no idea how hard it was to write that conversation at the end (the "serious" part, not the flirty part), because everything I was coming up with in response to her accusations was schmoopy and apologetic and sounded weak - and I think we can agree that even this incarnation of Sesshoumaru is none of those things, LOL.
That poor coat rack bared the brunt of his aggravation this go-round, lol.
A disturbingly large amount of this fic is based on things in my RL, and the description of their shared apartment is one of them. The hooks are attached to the wall in a line, like what you'd see in a coatroom - thus, he was able to despair and not do any damage, hahaha.
It's fun writing him struggling to maintain his composure :)
