Voting for the March 2009 term at the fa_awards begins today and runs through April 2. If you're a member, make sure you take the chance to show some love to these fabulous writers and artists!!

I was lucky enough to receive two nominations this go around, for two pieces quite close to my heart :) I'd like to extend special thanks to psyco_chick32 for the Fleeting nod, and to madmiko for the Coda nomination. Many, many thanks, ladies!!

I've seen my competition in both categories, and to call it "fierce" would be an understatement. It's really great to see so many fics and artworks nominated for these fabulous awards this time around! Click here to see all of the nominees.

And you saw my reaction when I did somehow manage to win that category.

This is a whole different ballgame,though. We're talking big name S/K writers with big-name, long-ass S/K stories. Hell, my canon stuff isn't as popular with my readers as my S/K stuff is, much less attempt to extrapolate that to fandom at large...and every other non I/K romantic pairing.

As for angst...yeah, that story is rather old, and again - huge names and titles in that category. Including you, might I just add :)

So, I believe my doubts are more than justified, unfortunately.
