Its a case of too little, too late, I fear. He's had his reasons, but it didn't really dawn on him how upset she was until now - hence the feeling of being off balance and out of control here. Hopefully it came through :)

Definitely not my favorite chapter to write, but it had to be done. We'll see how many people stay aboard after this...
