Thanks! :) I tried to mimic the buildup of the song, in that it starts small and snowballs out of control rather quickly, the desperation growing even as the intensity holds steady. I was seriously thinking of making this piece a more explicit songfic, but decided against it in the end to make sure everything was clearly conveyed.

I don't know who to feel more sorry for!

Then I've done my job right :) I never pictured Sesshoumaru as one who would be mouthy and brash during an argument; I think he's much more likely to shut down when faced with a blast of emotion. So, even though he doesn't argue so much, we can see how much it truly is affecting him beneath that calm facade.
