FF.net meme
Because 4:30 am is SO TOTES the time to be doing memes.
Here it is - the sad, sad truth of my place in fandom. Ganked from
minerva_one:
1. How many words of fanfic have you submitted? 239,182 words (here - this doesn't count the lemons that are at MM.org)
2. How many people have you on alerts? 23
3. How many people have faved you? 26
4. Which fandoms do you write for? Inuyasha & Ouran High School Host Club
5. How many stories have you written? 15, but two of those are collections (Collected Works with 49 drabbles/oneshots and By Request with 2 oneshots)
6. Which story of yours would you recommend for people to read? Fleeting. It is my new baby, and I have just had an absolute blast writing it.
7. Which story are you most proud of? Hell, I'm proud of all my fics there, for various reasons: Memento Mori, for finishing it; Four Seasons, for the depth of emotion and exploration of the characters; Every Heart, for proving to myself I *could* write on an epic scale (even if my epic scale is smaller than most folks'); Fleeting, because its the most complex and layered story I've ever attempted and thus far, it's panning out according to plan...
8. Which one was your biggest challenge? Memento Mori, without a damn doubt. How do you sequel something that was never meant to have a sequel?
9. Which one had the most reviews? Collected Works has the most (71), but of a single story, it's Fleeting (with a grand total of 36).
10. Which had the least? By Request has 0, my lone unreviewed fic at FF.net *cries*
11. Which story do you feel deserved the most reviews? *shrug* Reviews are gifts, not requirements. I've been lucky to receive some amazing reviews, yes even at FF.net!
12. Which story was your longest? Right now, it's Every Heart at 76,804; however, both Nihon Idol and Fleeting are shaping up to be even longer - I look forward to finding out if I can break 100,000 words with a single fic :P
13. Which story was your shortest? I have several 100-word drabbles in my catch-all collection.
14. Which story was a surprise hit? ...if I said Memento Mori, that'd be cheating, right? :P The first 'big hit' I had was Heaven, a Sess/Kagura oneshot, which very quickly received its seven reviews in succession. Sess/Kagura fans are very loyal and excited to see new pieces revolving around their pairing, apparently.
15. What story are you most known for? I've got no damn idea. I'd guess Memento Mori by sheer fandom recognition, but if the question is one of hits - Collected Works has 9317 hits, followed very closely by Fleeting, with 9259 hits.
16. What fandom are you most known for? Inuyasha
17. What pairings are you most known for? Inu/Kag; Sess/Kag
18. What is something you will never put into your story? A typical Sess/Kag fandom cliche - take your pick.
19. What do you think your trademark is? Not a clue.
20. Give us a hint of future stories! My goal for this year is to finish my "big three" on the front burner - Allegiance, Fleeting, and Nihon Idol. Beyond that - who knows?

And your trademark, I'd say, is being able to write such an emotionally-drive piece that it draws in readers who don't even like the pairing.
Your ability to write alternative pairings without totally destroying the characters, I guess would be another one.

Well thank you!! I like to write the same sorts of things I enjoy reading. If I read something, I want to be moved by it - thus, I want to write pieces of the same quality.
Alt pairings, like songfics, are something I have an understanding of that pretty much nobody else shares, LOL. But that's okay; I enjoy being unique! :)

You did say that, and I will probably remember it for the rest of my days. The reaction to that story in particular was beyond amazing, and I think you're the first person who reviewed it!
That was an epic time in my personal fandom world; Four Seasons & Memento Mori coinciding was like the universe aligning for me in terms of feedback and support. I dunno if it will ever happen again, but I'm really grateful for the experience!

It's on the way back burner, but yes, I do. I overdosed on the series late last year and am in love with - you guessed it - Kyouya. I have a claim at
I almost never do these things, but I just have to do this one.
Same here - this was a meme I couldn't resist :)
