Your Naraku is the true epitome of evil. Much worse than RT's character who she thinks could have been saved.
That's because I consciously chose where along the scale of evil I would place him. I tried to take the character we're given in canon and amplify it. There's so much focus on his obsession with Kikyo, and at the end, his somewhat sympathetic love for her, but I see their relationship as more contentious than that, and how easily his love could turn to hatred as she continually refused to give him what he truly wanted. One of the great dynamics of their relationship is how she refuses to cower or submit to him.
But yeah, I placed him somewhat in the middle of the 'Most Evil' scale, because I don't think he could ever kill her - he couldn't, in fact, in the manga story, always sending someone else to do his dirty work. So he's not quite a psychopath, but I honestly think sociopaths are far scarier in their own right *shudder*
