Hi, person I don't know! ;) I just wanted to say don't feel too disheartened, because I'm pretty sure nobody knows the fandom I wrote for D: The Good Life is a 1970s British comedy starring Richard Briers and Felicity Kendall. It's amazing but nobody knows it :(

Basically, every fandom I am in is tiny, and I always find my way to big fandoms after all the activity is gone.

I looked up the series. Not sure if it'd be my kind of humor, but the concept (with such a small cast) is quite good. :)
Do I need to know specifics about the series to read your stuff or is the general info in the Wiki article enough?

I follow very few fandoms, because the current ones I like ARE usually big ones and following them tends to become too time-consuming. So the small fandoms might actually be better... just that I wouldn't ever notice them. ;)
And the older fandoms have totally passed me by, because I grew up with little to no American/British/etc. (let's just sum that up as "western") pop culture influence. Once they became available to me, I had outgrown many of them. >.>

So yeah, I'm living under a sizable rock pile. :D

Oh, yes. Perhaps unsurprisingly, there's a lot of femmeslash for that series, LOL. There are even a couple of LJ communities, I think.

Pretty much any show actually on TV these days has a fandom somewhere :P

Heh, I understand that feeling entirely ;) The nice thing about my f-list (which most of the people who participated this year are on my f-list) is that they're all such good writers that I'm willing to read their work, even for fandoms I don't know myself. I've found myself converted to a "new" fandom more than once doing this, LOL.
