Seriously though, it sucks when you get disillusioned by the fandom and need to take a step back to rest. Happens now and then -

I've been working on something for another fandom that has made me downright giddy.
SO happy for you. Ultimately, the fandom should just make you happy. You don't have to wade through all that wank unless you like it (or you enjoy watching it unfold, LOL).
