Well, I'm intrigued! I might know it since, you know, we were kids at roughly the same time, lol. But we'll see.
Of the handful of people I've already gushed about this show to, only one of them remembers it...and actually started watching it long after I'd left. :P It's one of those weird generational things, I think, kinda like how I hated MMPR because I was just a smidge too old for it when it first came out.
I am a little curious to see who, if anybody, remembers or even watched the show when it was first run.
Let's just say that the age groups of the fans don't overlap a lot, lol.
Ditto, to the nth degree!
I think dealing with a whole different world is just a major re-adjustment as it is!
Yeah, its this, mostly. I've started writing the fic and its been a lot of trial and error because I don't feel as comfortable writing these characters as I do IY. Even if I have no one else to satisfy but myself, I'm still my own worst critic.
I don't think any of us appreciated it enough the first time around!
Well, see...I did, LOL. Not enough, obviously, but part of the reason why its been so easy to slip back is because of how much I loved this show when I was a kid. My ship is the ship I sailed before I even knew what "shipping" was. My old crush on the cute boy has come raging back to life, and I still want to be my favorite character even though I'm nothing like her and never will be. It's like, I flipped the switch and I'm seven again, and I think that's part of why I'm enjoying it so much - its something I loved before I had the ability to analyze why I loved it.
Mostly staring at my laptop, hoping my psychic powers will emerge to make you write. :D
Well, I have been writing ~ ! (Maybe even something you might want to read one day, LOL.) But the last thing I wrote prior to this was that dA contest piece, so its definitely been awhile. I couldn't sustain myself if I only managed to put out something serviceable every six months or so o.O
