Looks very interesting, and the fact that you consider it the most believable is also bonus. ^_^
Its an amazingly good show, and Jonathan Creek is one of those quirky characters you can't help but like, even when you hate him :P Maddie is just awesome, hands down. The show wasn't the same without her.
Now I feel astonished because everyone has like a million fandoms and I am like no way there's so many...
I look at it this way: I don't have to be "in the fandom" to have ships or care about the characters. I actively fangirl very, very few of the things I actually enjoy. Most of the shows/books I'd never write for, because I was satisfied with the canon and the conclusion (if there is one). Only when I feel the urge to rewrite the ending, so to speak, do I delve into fanwork.
Mine are all childish, anyway.
You can't get more childish than a kid's show from the 80s, so that's no excuse :P
