Day 12 - Who had the best wedding?
I don't watch a lot of shows with weddings (and, ironically enough given my penchant for romance novels - I don't read a lot of books with weddings, either), so the first one that came to mind was this...
Byron Sully/Michaela Quinn, Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman - I'm shocked I found it on YouTube! I remember when this happened, and I *love* going back and watching the early seasons for their courtship. It was really...just done well, through and through. I long for the day when I own this series outright, because it was definitely one of my favorites of the mid-90s. (A close second in my mind? Colleen's wedding in the final season <3). Every once in awhile I have this desire to go back and watch this show, and its definitely for the characters as much as the history or setting. A great series that was gone, far too soon...

I just don't watch a lot of shows that have weddings in them, at least not memorable of "best" kind. Soaps, yes, but none of my favorite soap couples had a big, lavish, amazing wedding - there was drama, but not of the necessarily good kind, LOL. So I had to dig back in my vaults to find one...and this was the best I could remember :P
I <3 YouTube so hard much right now - I can't believe the number of (complete) episodes of TV series I find there!

I must investigate this...

It brings back memories for sure...

Any one person I should search for, or is it a bunch of different people who've uploaded episodes? I'm so going to watch that series again when I have two seconds to myself, because it was awesome!
80s cartoons just freaking ruled, IDGAF who disagrees.

This was my problem, too! LoL.
Byron Sully/Michaela Quinn, Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman
I'd forgotten these two actually got married! (I didn't really watch - my childhood best friend's mother was absolutely addicted to it though.) It's a excellent choice though! There are few shows where two leads are so in-step with each other, and yet their relationship remains interesting. :)

Teen drama is where the angst is! LOL :P Childhood nostalgia FTFW.
I didn't really watch - my childhood best friend's mother was absolutely addicted to it though.
FUN FACT: Haylie Johnson had roles on both Dr. Quinn *and* Kids Inc at the same time...as if I needed more incentive to watch, LOL.
I think what drew me into this show was the historical setting and strong female lead, more than anything. I am such a pushover for any sort of period piece, and I appreciated that the protagonist was a strong, confident, forward-thinking woman (even if it bordered on anachronism most of the time :P). The development of a romance for such a character is incredibly tricky, and I think they totally played it right with this one :) I enjoyed the series right up until the end, when Joe Lando was gone and they tried to drive a wedge in the biggest canon ship of 'em all. But of course, by then I was rather enamored of Colleen/Andrew relationship <3
