I didn't even know they got together! Huh, I missed out on a lot of the series; most of what I read was scattered and precious little.

I didn't, either - I mostly read SVH and SVT, never the Kids or SVU or the Elizabeth series. But a few years ago (during a previous nostalgia wave), I read some of the SVU Super Thriller editions or whatever the hell they are, and damn if they weren't good reads. That's where Bruce/Lila existed (I read a couple of books focused on each of them), and it was pretty nifty, considering how escapist and unrealistic the Sweet Valley universe is :P
