Well aren't I a regular Chatty Cathy o.O

Apparently, I like to talk. A lot. And what do you know about that? Apparently you guys like talking back :)

I'm not sure who lucky #10K was, but I *think* it was [livejournal.com profile] sweetly_beth...at least, that's the last comment I remember receiving before I happened to find this rather bemusing milestone. Either way, I thank everyone who's contributed to my journal over the last 2+ years ~ it wouldn't be nearly as much fun without you! =)

Besides writing, I was able to indulge my cooking-impaired side...but luckily, AB writes literally failproof recipes. Enjoy granola bars? Why not try making your own? These are amazing! <3

I finished my next chapter of Stacy in Bloom, much to my relief. The next one in line is going to be pretty heavy, so here's hoping the muses will stop dancing amongst all the fun stuff they have planned far in the future and give me something good to work with *crosses fingers*

And HOT DAMN, I'M DONE WITH THIS MEME! Man, 30 days is a long friggin' time to be answering questions about pairing preferences...and of course it ends with a doozy o.O

Day 30 - Your favorite ship forever and ever and ever?

My answer to this is simple: YOU CAN'T MAKE ME CHOOSE!

The ships I tend to pick tend to have an enduring quality to them, whether I feel the need to "rewrite their ending" or not. I have stuff on here I've fangirled since I was five, for Pete's sake o.O But, at the same time, it all depends on when you ask me this question. A year ago, I might've said S/K was my ultimate enduring ship. Today, I'll tell you it's Ryan/Stacy, but that's biased to the fact that I spent all day writing on a story centered around them (if not about them, in particular). A month ago, I would've answered Sam Thomas/Stacey McGill, because I spent that weekend rereading a shitton of BSC books.

It's obvious I've reached back into my memory bank for some most of these, and it's obvious that I actively squee over a few of these more than others. Shipping, to me, is an enduring practice in and of itself - we move on, we grow up, we try new things...and sometimes we look back fondly =)

So which ship of mine will endure forever and ever and ever? Well, have a look...apparently I have 26 to choose from ~

I hear ya about not making a choice. Whichever pairing I'm playing with at the moment...Over the last six months, it's IK and a triad of Hephaestus/Aphrodite/Ares...(you can't separate them. It's an unusual, but stable relationship). And Calypso/Oddyseus. Who knows who it will be in the next six months?

I totally agree about your thoughts on shipping. That's going to be a hard one for me to do too. Urg.

Dang, woman! You've been on LJ a third of the time I have, and you've got twice the activity. "Chatty Cathy" about sums it up. :)

And congrats on finishing!

I wish my other fandoms were as active and LJ-friendly as IY :)

Hahaha, I can relate to this, though probably on the opposite spectrum as you. I've started using Twitter and Tumblr just to START to keep up with my FMA fandom friends. Still, however it plays out, I definitely enjoy the talking. We've had some great times along the way!

Yeah, its nice to finish something for a change... :P

UH, ABOUT THAT. Must be nice to know what it's like!

That would be why I've had a lot more action on LJ than you, then

WELL, not necessarily. This has only been a pretty recent, in-the-last-month development, as I finally have made friends with all of the people I have been eyehearting at since April. Buuuut, details? But yes, IY's centrality has been pretty nice. Everyone's mostly in the same places, and are pretty easy to track.

One day, I SWEAR, I will be able to post that I've finished other stuff I started! That will be a glorious day. (Or days, I suspect, unless I somehow split in two and the second me works while the first me writes :P)

OMG, I would want that superpower, for sure. (Except, what happens if the other you decides they don't want to do their job? And begin to rebel? PROBLEMS MAY ARISE.)

...I'm sorry. I-I'm a bit of a dork right now. Apparently.

I envy you, your fandom organization...

Well, it helps that I have like, TWO, and I am fairly consistent in preferring to have one base of operations (in this case? LJ). Plus, the fandom's I'm in are fairly large ones, and I'm the sort who either participates fully in a fandom or not at all.

Also, you and RosieB just made your second appearances in my KI fic because THAT, my friends, is dorkdom at its finest *facepalm*

LOLOL that is AMAZING. Okay, you win, you get to be dorkier. And now I think I should catch up already so I can see what I'm up to. xD

Naturally we do! ;) Congrats on the milestone, chica!

My answer to this is simple: YOU CAN'T MAKE ME CHOOSE!

LoL! I'm totally with you on this. (I did/will make a choice, but it's always with the caveat that it might change next week!) I mean, just doing this meme got me reading scads of Jayne/River fic again. :P

LOL I am staring at the meme desperately trying to figure out if I can make this happen. Seeing yours and [livejournal.com profile] replicantangel's and [livejournal.com profile] paynesgrey's reminded me that there are quite a few other couples I enjoy...
Woo you did it!

Congrats on completing your meme.
