So apparently FF.net is having troubles with ads again. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: if you want to have a hassle-free internet experience, you need to (1) download Firefox, and (2) install AdBlockPlus. I literally haven't seen an ad in years, and I've never had a whit of trouble trying to read fanfic at FF.net.
It even takes the commercials off videos uploaded to YouTube!
In the meanwhile, it seems AO3 has gotten its act together since Yuletide, so I'll be trying them out again as well. So if you *really* want to read my stuff, you have a couple of different alternatives to FF.net:
[+] my LJ fic community - IY fandom stuff only
[+] my Dreamwidth account - everything *but* IY fandom stuff
[+] my deviantART account - selected oneshots
[+] Archive of Our Own - selected oneshots
Media Miner seems to be on its last legs, but I'm leaving what's there, there until it bites the dust for good.

Oh? Why so? I haven't been over there in ages, so I haven't been keeping up with such things. (I haven't been keeping up with much of anything lately - I have lots of updates from you to read, for example! :D)
AdBlockPlus really helped a lot from the last time you suggested it. If I never thanked you for that, then - thank you! :)

Well, after the Great Database/Server Crash of November (or was that October?), I think I know of about two people who've been able to update their work or post new stories. Only one person from the author alert list for the newsletter has gotten through. I've kinda given up on it as a lost cause, but I'd hate for the place to bite the dust, especially with the restrictions of FF.net and the ridiculousness of AFF.net *shrug*
Oh, well. I don't write a lot of adult-rated fic anyway =)

Real life - how does it work?! :D LOL. My stories will still be there, whenever you get around to them. An update tonight and another tomorrow will hopefully more than make up for the months of silence from my end.

You're welcome! =)
