Fandom History & Inspiration Meme - Day 2
Day 2 – Name the fandoms you've written in, and how much you've written in that fandom, and if you still write in it.
Well, this one is fairly simple, since I just recoded my master fic list! :)
Inuyasha (IY)
• Total words: 372,721
• Completed Stories: 72
• WIPs: 3 (Allegiance, Fleeting, Fragments)
• Still writing?: Yes, but my participation in this fandom is winding down. Aside from the giftfics I owe, I am mostly focused on finishing my current WIPs. I doubt I'll start any new stories starring these characters, but then again, I've learned to never say never :P
Kids Inc (KI)
• Total words: 137,353
• Completed Stories: 6
• WIPs: 2 (Stacy in Bloom, Secrets)
• Still writing?: Yes! This is my main fandom right now. I have numerous oneshot ideas percolating in the back of my brain, as well as a sequel to Stacy in Bloom. I'm definitely going to be here for a good long while!
Baby-sitters Club (BSC)
• Total words: 22,212
• Completed Stories: 8
• WIPs: 1 (The Best Friends You'll Ever Have)
• Still writing?: Yes - this is my second-biggest fandom at the moment. I still have 92 prompts left to fill in on my prompt table for
babysitters100, and I'm writing a separate Charlie/Janine story, so I definitely see myself sticking around here and actively participating for a good, long time :D
General Hospital (GH)
• Total words: 12,057
• Completed Stories: 1
• WIPs: 1 (Lost in Translation)
• Still writing?: Yes, albeit sporadically. I'm hoping the show will pick up again now that Guza has been fired, but I'm not holding my breath that my favored pairing will live long enough to see new material :-/ This is definitely a backburner fandom for me.
Jonathan Creek (JC)
• Total words: 4,303
• Completed Stories: 2
• WIPs: 0
• Still writing?: Probably not - I'm no good at writing mystery stories, and I still don't feel like I do the character of Jonathan Creek any sort of justice :-/ Which is a pity, because I really like him!
Ouran High School Host Club
• Total words: 1,195
• Completed Stories: 1
• WIPs: 0
• Still writing?: No. It was a sad day when I hung up my cap on this fandom, but I just couldn't sustain enough interest in the characters to continue writing fanfic for them. Maybe if I finish the end of the manga, I'll feel differently, but as of right now, I don't intend to pick up a pen for these characters again.
