Fandom History & Inspiration Meme - Day 5

Day 5 – If you have ever had a character try to push their way into a fic, whether your "muse" or not, what did you do about it?

Well...considering my answer to yesterday's question, I guess I can't really answer today's :P I don't have characters push their way into stories where I didn't plan on having them to begin with. And if I do find myself with an unexpected character interaction (like bringing Inuyasha fully on board in Fleeting, to interact not just with Kagome, but the entire canvas of characters), I just go with it. I'm not someone who slavishly outlines my stories before I begin. I start with a beginning and an end, and the journey from point A to point B is half the fun of writing, IMO.
