aamalie has finalized her beautiful piece of fanart for Midnight Masquerade, and I honestly couldn't be more thrilled. This has been a rough couple of weeks for me, and it seems like I always received an update of some sort about this at just the right moment. Tears of sadness became tears of happiness upon seeing this, and I honestly can't thank her enough :) This is the first piece of fanart I've ever received for my work, and it's a special sort of feeling - of amazement and flattery and humility - that just can't be touched any other way. Thank you, so much!

You know, I told you it was done, but now I'm fooling around with lineart tonight. Just to see if Gimp could do it as well as Photoshop. That was two hours ago, and I'm still working on it. So I don't know anymore.

This just doesn't end. Either that, or I just don't know when to stop. XD

Nope! Just a bit of squeeing, I think? ;) The dA gushes made me a happy person - you sure know how to make me feel good and complimented!

Also: I am continuing, or so it seems! (You know. If only because I was able to adjust Miroku's face to my liking in lineart in a way I couldn't manage in pencil. XD)
