luxken27: (Kids Inc amused)

Treats of a YouTube flavor

Give me an organizational tool and I will hug it and squeeze it and make it my own...

The YouTube playlist feature is no different.

I took the liberty of gathering up all of the episodes of Kids Inc currently on YouTube into convenient lists, organized by season. So if you're curious, you can click one link and access 'em all =)

And, since not all of the episodes are up, but most of the songs are, I spent most of my weekend pulling those together as well (which...took me a lot longer than I ever want to admit, LOL, but at least I have easy access to background music).

One of the things that's been very heartening since returning to this fandom is to find so many fangirls who shared my gigantic crush on Ryan Lambert. Seriously, he was the only boy for me for a good seven or eight years of my childhood, and with good reason <3

A quick guide to why he captured so many childhood hearts in the 80s is this video, which is at times endearing (and cracky):

Welcome to the nerd I once was, and aspire to be once more :P

If you want to friend me on YouTube, my account is here.

Diving into this fandom makes me want to run and hug my bass guitar, LOL.

*stares in awe at all of the 80's music*

It was a good era. I totally resent the fact I missed out on all so much of it - though my hair is probably better off for it.

Fandom and humor = best combo ever. After all, isn't fun the reason we're here?

80s music was, in my opinion, something better forgotten than celebrated

Haha, I dunno. Remembering it can lead to lots and lots of laughs, and inspire people to dress up in really, really ridiculous costumes. And then there are the awfultastic dance moves... I'm glad I'm not guilty of it, but I sure don't mind laughing at it. :)

I have big, big plans with one of her songs and my fic.

*eyes you suspiciously*

because there's no one else to fangirl with, at least not directly...

That is lame indeed. *hopes random fangirls will come out of the woodwork to squee with you* XD

LOL! You bought back memories! Without telling my age, I was a huge nerd and fan of a lot of the music! WOW! Good times!!

Darn it! LOL I forgot I told!! Oh well!! I have to agree, this was the music we listened to and watched MTV for! Oh my, the memories!! I ALMOST miss the legwarmers and the scrunchies!!

I agree, it is coming back (Hello, Lady Gaga!) The memories are good, it's just weird to see things coming back that were bad fashion decisions in the first place! LOL

There's nothing wrong with having an older mentality. It just shows you've had more maturity than those around you.
