Treats of a YouTube flavor
Give me an organizational tool and I will hug it and squeeze it and make it my own...
The YouTube playlist feature is no different.
I took the liberty of gathering up all of the episodes of Kids Inc currently on YouTube into convenient lists, organized by season. So if you're curious, you can click one link and access 'em all =)
And, since not all of the episodes are up, but most of the songs are, I spent most of my weekend pulling those together as well (which...took me a lot longer than I ever want to admit, LOL, but at least I have easy access to background music).
One of the things that's been very heartening since returning to this fandom is to find so many fangirls who shared my gigantic crush on Ryan Lambert. Seriously, he was the only boy for me for a good seven or eight years of my childhood, and with good reason <3
A quick guide to why he captured so many childhood hearts in the 80s is this video, which is at times endearing (and cracky):
Welcome to the nerd I once was, and aspire to be once more :P
If you want to friend me on YouTube, my account is here.
Diving into this fandom makes me want to run and hug my bass guitar, LOL.

But that's part of what makes this fandom fun - being able to take everything with a sense of humor about you, LOL :D

allso much of it - though my hair is probably better off for it.Fandom and humor = best combo ever. After all, isn't fun the reason we're here?

Although how anybody could hate Belinda Carlisle is beyond me, hehe :D I have big, big plans with one of her songs and my fic.

Speaking as my fandom of one? Yes. When it stops being fun, I will be sad :-/ because there's no one else to fangirl with, at least not directly...

Haha, I dunno. Remembering it can lead to lots and lots of laughs, and inspire people to dress up in really, really ridiculous costumes. And then there are the awfultastic dance moves... I'm glad I'm not guilty of it, but I sure don't mind laughing at it. :)

That is lame indeed. *hopes random fangirls will come out of the woodwork to squee with you* XD

LOL, what? It only fits =) Check out the last song of Season 5 (and rage along with me that it wasn't a duet :-/)

It'd be nice, I must admit =) But, alas, I have a feeling this is going to be mostly for my own amusement (and, by proxy, for all of you guys to laugh at me)...but sometimes fangirlism is too infectious not to share!!

And - IIRC, you did once reveal your age to me - you were probably in a more age appropriate category to be dreaming after the likes of Ryan Lambert than I was back in the day, LOL. So, you know, its all good! :P

Maybe its just me, but it seems like 80s influence is coming back to today's music. Kinda menacing o.O but hey, as long as it brings back good memories...!
(And don't feel bad - I feel bad because it seems I can never like anything intended for my own generation. All of my idols are at least a generation older than me, and that makes me feel very strange, like I can't relate to people my own age. Bleh.)

There's nothing wrong with having an older mentality. It just shows you've had more maturity than those around you.
