[+] I'm just about finished with my reread of BSC canon; all I have left are a couple of mysteries, and the prequel, The Summer Before. Of course, I've already gathered six notebook pages full of observations about my characters (Charlie Thomas and Janine Kishi, for anyone who's wondering), so perhaps this is going just a teensy bit overboard. Perhaps ;)

I'm quite excited, though, because it looks like the plot I've dreamed up and outlined is going to work just perfectly :) This story is going to practically write itself, and I can't wait! =) I've had some positive responses from the

babysittersclub comm here ~ I guess my minor alt!ship pairing isn't all that minor after all... ;) As long as my Thanksgiving holiday is drama-free (and the muses are cooperating), I think I can have this thing ready for publication by early December.

Thanks! =) I was a bit surprised and pleased that (1) apparently my tastes span decades of music, and (2) I could find so many live performances. My favorite artists are awesome live, LOL!!

And yeah. I don't have nearly all of my music on my computer, but I had enough to start making a list of YouTube vids...and then I found a few by chance. I <3 Beck so hard (he was my next musical crush after Ryan Lambert, LOL) and I was SO disappointed to find out he was a Scientologist >:(

It certainly will make it easier to put this story together, even if I'm setting it before half this stuff even happens :) I haven't been this excited about a fic idea in a long time, and part of that comes from the fact that it's so nicely contained - I have a realistic chance of writing the whole thing before the urge to post it hits me. Huzzah for finished stories, I say! :P

Eh, that's okay ~ obviously I made due ;) I couldn't think of a single L-word song off the top of my head, but when I organized my song list on the computer, suddenly I had choices.

More than, LOL. BSC canon is quite far-reaching - I think there's something like 210 books altogether or some such craziness o.O I'm itching to write, though, so hopefully the researching part of this will wrap up today or tomorrow.

Heh, thanks! =) I usually don't have problems coming up with story ideas...the problem is finding a way to use them, LOL. And the fun thing about going back through beloved fandoms is that the ideas just come naturally as you reread/rewatch the material...:)

I'm really looking forward to this. It's always nice to have new ways to write! And to know there's an audience for the finished product :)
