This book is the ultimate trifecta of cringe for me: (1) it's a Lerangis novel; (2) it's Stacey at the epitome of her boy-crazy worst; (3) it's the end of her canon relationship with Sam Thomas. Bonus cringe is the fact that this idea (student-teacher relationship) has not aged particularly well.

That's a big bowl of No Thank You for me.

I cringed just reading that list. It's been forever since I read any of the BSC books (it was probably middle school or earlier), but it's funny to me how much of it has been coming back as I read your posts for this meme. :D

Haha, awesome! I didn't know you read the BSC books back in the day. They must've stuck with you, too, if I'm dredging up memories for you! It'll be interesting to see if that continues as the meme continues, since some of these days are devoted to the later books and spin-offs.

I loved the series as a kid, and I find that it's good stress relief now. Escapism at its best - exactly what I need every now and again!
