Congrats again on winning the baggage challenge. I always sorta throw up my hands when I see you've entered the contest because your stuff is seriously good. A very well deserved win!

Yeah it was a bit of a tough week. My Great Aunt died Wednesday and her funeral was yesterday. Two funerals in two weeks. I think January just needs to end already.

I was completely surprised to see I won for "Baggage" but it did definitely give me a nice start to this next week. Hopefully it'll be a good one :)

Hahaha it's funny you should say that! I feel exactly the same way once I see whose entered for a week. I never expect to win, or even place. There's just so many good writers in the iyfic LJ, and the IYFG, FA, ED, Dokuga, all of them. We're our own worst critics though. That's always the way :)

Yeah, I'm the same, but there are certain names I see and I'm like, "why even bother?" :P That's why I never read entries before I post my own if I have plans to enter the contest.
