Well, since my next installment of Allegiance is being held up at the contest community, here's another little piece I wrote this past week, in accordance with the second theme atiy_themes. Since I'm the owner of the comm, my entries are exempt from voting.
I had to cut the piece down in order to fall within the original word limit, so here's something resembling the original version, if you're interested:
