24.) Least favorite Friends Forever:

...and, just like that, all of the good will that Book #1 built up was dashed to pieces with this one. Claudia and Stacey start a feud, and over a boy, no less. The feud runs the length of the series (or at least the length of time that [spoiler alert] Stacey ends up dating said boy in question) and ruins one of the best friendships of the series. I always hate it when Claud and Stacey fight, but this one is especially stupid. What was the point of paring down the club to the Fab 4, only have two of them immediately start a grudge match? UGH!

Yeah, pretty much this. For the entirety of the original series, they never clashed over boys, even when they dated the same ones! That just adds another note of sourness to this whole grudge match business, along with the fact that this is a total cliche of preteen girl behavior.
